Prices include labor, valving parts, and fluids
Prices do not include springs or rebuild parts
(Add $66 to the re-valve price to include oil seals and labor)
The WP fork has harsh valving and incorrect spring rates for most riders. This creates harsh action when riding on the rocks, roots, and square edged bumps, insufficient bottoming resistance on the big hits, vague steering and tracking, head shake, and instability. After consulting with you, I modify the internal damping circuits and adjust spring rates to match your weight, ability, riding style, and type of terrain encountered.
Re-valve includes:
- Valving parts
- Cartridge fork fluid
- Clean and inspect all parts
- Labor
- 60 day warranty
- Unlimited phone support
- Re-work if needed
Does not include springs, seals, or bushings.

Shock Sox/Seal Savers are highly recommended on all KTM forks.
Shock Re-Valve
$225
The WP shock suffers from harsh high speed compression valving and soft spring rates. This creates poor straight line stability and cornering, kicking, low ride height, and insufficient bottoming resistance. The spring rate needs to be adjusted for most riders and the internal valving settings should be corrected. After consulting with you, I modify the internal damping circuits and adjust the spring rate to match your weight, ability, riding style, and type of terrain in which you may encounter.
Note: Progressive rate shock springs are used for all off-road applications.
Re-valve includes:
- Valving parts

Fork or Shock Height/Travel Reduction
$ Please call for pricing
Many of today’s motorcycles are too tall for the average rider and can be overwhelming for riders with inseams of 30 inches or less. Reducing the ride height 1 to 2 inches makes it much easier to navigate technical sections, reduces low speed tip overs, and greatly increases rider confidence.
The travel reduction modification involves the installation of travel limiting spacers, (so that the fork or shock shaft extends to a reduced position) installing shorter fork springs (except '07 SX and '08 SX, XC), and re-valving to match the reduced travel and your riding conditions..
The travel reduction can be reversed back to full travel for approximately half of the original cost.
Travel reduction is recommended for trail riding, enduros and motard. It is NOT offered for motocross or high speed desert.

KTM 200 EXC/XC/XC-W
Slavens Mule Port & Polish ’04-‘08
$300
This mod gives an increase to the bottom-end and mid-range torque, which makes it easier to climb mountains and allows you to use taller gearing, which makes 1st gear more usable and 6th gear better for cruising to the next trail head. The power delivery is smoother than stock, and enables you to put the power to the ground on slick surfaces and makes it less tiring to ride all day long. Fuel mileage is improved and pump gas works well.
KTM 300EXC/MXC/XC/XC-W
Slavens Mule Port/ Polish/Decking ’04-‘08
$350
This is my favorite engine to pump up, because I have been riding 300s since they first came out in 1990. I currently ride an ‘08 300XC-W and I have devoted many countless hours to refining this power-plant. These mods offer a significant boost to the low-end and mid-range torque. The increased torque and smooth power delivery makes it easier to ride, increases traction, and enables using a taller gear in most situations. These mods help fuel mileage, my 300 gets 90+ miles per o.e.m. tank.
All cylinder and head mods are adjusted to work in the elevation range in which they will be ridden. Jetting specifications will be included for applications at 5000’ to 12,000’.
Race gas is NOT needed.

Low-end and mid-range boost. This mod can be used with a stock engine or a ported cylinder.
Race gas is not needed.
KTM 300EXC/MXC/XC/XC-W 2004-08
Cylinder Decking
$60
This mod, when combined with the head mod, is the biggest bang for the buck. It gives a big boost to the low-end and mid-range torque. If you are watching your budget, I highly recommend the cylinder decking combined with the head mod.
Race gas is NOT needed.
